Academic partnership has long been a vital component of U.S.-Mexico relations. In recent years, the neighboring countries have partnered to launch several programs aimed at increasing educational exchanges, including the Bilateral Forum on Higher Education, Innovation, and Research (FOBESII).

University of Wyoming’s Collaborative Project Receives Innovation Fund [Video]

The University of Wyoming and Universidad Autonomo de Yucatan will work on a collaborative project in engineering. The project will be funded by the “100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovative Fund”. The “100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovative Fund” aims to bring 100,000 students from the USA to study in Latin America and the Caribbean.

LARAMIE, Wyo., April 10 — The University of Wyoming issued the following news release: The University of Wyoming is among seven schools — three from the United States, two from Brazil, and one each in Colombia and Mexico — to receive grant money for collaborative research projects, and to increase bilateral mobility of U.S., Latin American and Caribbean students through study abroad program development.
