OU earns grants to support teaching and research initiatives in Pakistan and Guatemala – 2019 – International Education – News – OU Magazine – Oakland University

Oakland University’s Office of Global Engagement was recently awarded a pair of grants from the U.S. Department of State that will deepen the university’s impact on teaching and research around the world. The first grant, worth over $400,000, will bring Pakistani secondary teachers to OU for two five-week sessions in 2020 and 2021.

Environmental justice in Guatemala – News – Illinois State

This program is designed as an independent study project that explores environmental crime and justice issues within Guatemala. The project also will provide Illinois State students the opportunity to interact with faculty and students from Rafael Landívar University (URL) who share interests in environmental justice and legal issues.

Office of International Studies given grant for partnership with Guatemala University

Illinois State University’s Office of International Studies was awarded a $25,000 grant from the U.S Department of State.  The grant for a faculty and student exchange program with Guatemala’s Universidad Rafael Landívar (URL) to advocate for environmental justice.
