Academic Exchange for Sustainability Through Design
This program looks to offer students a transformational study abroad experience that builds competencies to design solutions to address global sustainability challenges, so that students can apply the design process taking into consideration the context in vulnerable communities and learn about sustainable solutions in the fields of water, waste, and energy. The program will improve students’ cross-cultural skills, developing a deeper understanding of American and Guatemalan contexts and facilitating learning to work in teams with students from other cultures and contexts.
