MappEAN Cultural Expressions: The Observatory for Creative Economies
The partnership between Universidad EAN (EAN) and University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) builds student and institutional capacity for enhancing cultural and creative industries and its social impact. Students will jointly develop a matrix of variables, and map out San Antonio’s and Bogotá’s cultural and creative industries ecosystem, shareholders, and value chain through field research and expressions. EAN students will conduct research in the sectors of cultural activities and identify its process and value chain to analyze the territorial influence in San Antonio. UTSA students will develop a deeper understanding of Colombian culture, history, and sociopolitical change by exploring the challenges and opportunities for the creative industries entrepreneurship.
