“The Innovation Academy for Women in the Americas” brought together undergraduate women in STEM from the University of New Mexico (United States), Universidad de La Salle (Mexico), and Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (Mexico) for a month of leadership, mentorship, and research training. The Academy provided global exposure through education abroad that focused on the development of academic, research, and professional skills, coupled with on-going mentorship and support to students.
