On March 17, 2021 the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala hosted a live virtual event to launch the 2021 Innovation Fund Grant Competition to Build Partnerships between the U.S., Central America, and the Dominican Republic, generously supported by AgroAmerica and the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, to support new higher education partnerships and academic training programs for students between the eligible countries. The event featured senior officials from the U.S. Department of State, AgroAmerica, 100K program leaders from the U.S. and Central America, and Partners of the Americas to learn about this new regional 100K Innovation Fund opportunity to build higher education partnerships. During this virtual event, attendees had the opportunity to interact with the Innovation Fund team and featured guests through a live Question & Answer session.
