Growing Food, Harvesting Peace
Universidad Tecnológica de Bolivar will partner with Cornell University and Corporación Universitaria del Caribe to build a partnership for research and instruction in order for students from each institution to build global competencies and to better understand the challenges involved with local and regional food systems in different socio-economic contexts. Students, faculty, and small food producers and distributors will travel between Colombia and the U.S. for a series of activities designed to exchange knowledge, experiences, methods, and research initiatives regarding the role of food systems in rural peace building.
