One Health One World Exchange
West Virginia University and the University of Trinidad and Tobago will expand their interdisciplinary study service exchange program to provide students interested in human health, animal health and the environment to participate in an immersion experience. The initial implementation phase of the program will focus on Animal Science, during which students from both institutions will participate in the hands-on program consisting of field tours, discussions and learning about animal management practices while participating in service-learning activities and working at animal shelters, zoos and environmental organizations. The following phases will focus on developing study abroad experiences for core disciplines such as Human Medicine, Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences and Wildlife Management.

Intercambio One Health One World
La Universidad de Virginia Occidental y la Universidad de Trinidad y Tobago ampliarán su programa interdisciplinario de intercambio de servicio en estudio para ofrecer a los estudiantes interesados en salud humana, salud animal y medioambiente participar en una experiencia de inmersión. Durante la fase de implementación inicial del programa, centrada en Ciencia Animal, los estudiantes de ambas instituciones participarán en un programa práctico que constará de visitas de campo, debates y aprendizaje sobre prácticas de manejo de animales, al tiempo que participan en actividades de aprendizaje en servicio, y trabajan en refugios para animales, zoológicos y organizaciones medioambientales. Las siguientes fases se centrarán en el desarrollo de experiencias de estudio en el extranjero para disciplinas básicas, tales como medicina humana, gestión medioambiental, ciencias del medioambiente, y gestión de vida silvestre.
